The San Luis Obispo High baseball team won its eighth in a row and stayed perfect in league play with a 10-6 win at Pioneer Valley on Wednesday.
The Tigers built a 7-0 lead and held on to improve to 8-0 in PAC-7 play, while the Panthers dropped to 5-6 in league.
The Panthers scored 4 runs in the fifth inning thanks to 4 errors by the Tigers. Davis Casciola threw a complete game for the Tigers to earn the win. He allowed just 4 hits in the game.
Trevor MacLeod, Marco Murillo, Louie Summer and Casciola each recorded two hits in the win for the Tigers. RJ Hassey and Summer had 2 RBI apiece.
The Tigers will go for the three game sweep on Friday on its home field. They hold a two game lead over Paso Robles after the Bearcats lost 22-9 at Righetti.
