The Tigers drew two bases-loaded walks with two outs to come-from-behind to stun Atascadero 3-2 in a Pac 7 League game on Tuesday.
San Luis Obispo improved to 9-4 to keep its league title hopes alive. The Greyhounds, who are in fourth place, dropped to 6-6-1 in league.
Sam Neely singled home Levi Keller in the top of the seventh to give the Greyhounds a 2-1 lead.
San Luis Obispo loaded the bases in the bottom half when starting pitcher Zac Austin recorded a strikeout for the second out of the inning. However, Austin was taken out of the game for a reliever, who walked in the tying run. The next Tiger up drew ball four to force in the game-winning run.
Arroyo Grande blanked Paso Robles 11-0 to improve to 8-3-2 in league. The Eagles pounded out 17 hits, while the Bearcats managed 5. Zack Brown, Dylan Azevedo and Paul Ormonde had 3 hits each for AG. Brown drove in 3 runs. Tyler Auerbach cranked a 3-run home run as part of a 5-run fifth inning.
Daniel Ramirez threw 6 shutout innings for the Eagles.
First place Righetti took the opener of its series with St. Joseph 7-4. Troy Prober threw a complete game for the Warriors, who improved to 12-4 in league after their seventh win in a row.
