The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department is adding one more to its team. Tony Cipolla has been selected as the new public information officer.

Cipolla will replace former PIO Rob Bryn, who died on March 1.

Cipolla is formerly the evening anchor for KSBY and left his career here in 2010.

As the PIO, Cipolla's starting salary will be $70,804, plus benefits. He is scheduled to begin the job July 1.
