The Eagles beat Rio Mesa, 45-32 in the Southern Section Division 3AAA championship in Anaheim on March 2. Arroyo Grande went on to win two games in the state tournament before losing in the quarterfinals. The Eagles finished the season 27-6, led by seven seniors.
Senior Heather Madrigal averaged 16.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. Senior Lindsey Wolf averaged 13 points and 8.7 rebounds.
Arroyo Grande's CIF championship is the fifth story unveiled by KSBY. After the tenth story is released on December 28 you will be able to vote for your pick on the ksby.com homepage.
