Traffic backup in Santa Maria because of car crash

A car crash on the Highway 101 Santa Maria River Bridge caused northbound traffic to back up Saturday night.
The crash, involving two vehicles, happened around 7:50 PM, blocking the roadway.
A Caltrans camera showed northbound traffic on the bridge at a complete standstill nearly an hour later.
