Traffic stop leads to arrest of Grover Beach man

A traffic stop Wednesday led to the arrest of a 29-year-old Grover Beach man, who police say was in possession of drugs and other items.

Grover Beach police stopped Austin James Ross in the 1000 block of Highway 1 around 11:10 a.m.

He was arrested after police say he was found to be driving with a suspended license and in possession of hashish.

After a search of Ross's car, police say they also found more than 80 grams of methamphetamine packaged for sales and other paraphernalia used for selling narcotics.

He was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail, but jail logs did not show him in custody Thursday afternoon.
