The big rig crash in Santa Barbara that killed a family of three prompted local leaders to take a closer look at truck safety along that stretch.
Truck safety on Highway 154 was discussed Thursday morning at the Santa Barbara County Association of Government board meeting.
Caltrans and the California Highway Patrol presented a safety report on the issue.
In addition, some concerned citizens spoke out about what they believe is the solution.
