Tsunami response exercise on Central Coast

San Luis Obispo County will take part in a tsunami response exercise Wednesday morning, to help improve preparedness on the Central Coast.
It's in response to the recent earthquake in Chile that created tsuanmis affecting our coastlines. The "Pacifex 10" exercise will simulate a widespread tsunami warning and advisory situation along the U.S. and Canadian pacific coasts.
The exercise begins at 10:00 a.m..
