Two gang members arrested for attempted murder and torture

Santa Maria Police say two gang members are in jail for attempting to murder and torture another man.
Police say Simon Gutierrez and Johnny Lugo stabbed a gang member in the 1100 block of North Broadway back in June of 2012.
Lugo was arrested Wednesday, while driving a stolen vehicle.
After an investigation, Gutierrez was also arrested.
Both men were arrested for attempted murder, torture, and street gang enhancement.
