This weekend will be a dream come true for two local children living with life threatening medical conditions.
Melanie Corona-Jimenez of Oceano has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.
When the Tri-Counties Make-A-Wish Foundation heard about the seven-year-old's condition, they asked her to make one wish.
On Sunday, her dream of going on a shopping spree at Toys-R-Us is coming true.
A limo will pick Melanie up at her house and take her to the toy store in Santa Maria.
8-year-old Goleta resident Wyatt Taylor, who has Burkitt's Lymphoma, will have his wish granted when he takes a trip to Disney World.
