Two men were carjacked in Santa Maria Wednesday night.

The Santa Maria Police Department says two females asked a man driving a 2000 BMW for a ride in the area of Broadway and Alvin before 6:30 p.m.

The victim complied and later picked up two more of their friends.

As he drove west, three of the passengers pulled a knife on the man and left him in the agriculture fields.

The man was not injured.

In another incident, two men with a gun approached a man sitting in his vehicle near Concepcion and Central.

The man was not injured, but they were able to leave with his vehicle.

The vehicle was recovered a short time later, but the car was empty.

Police are still looking for the suspects and the investigation is on-going.
