Two people injured in crash in Goleta

Santa Barbara County Fire officials say two people were hurt in a car crash at Walnut Lane and Hollister Avenue in Goleta.
It happened at 7:30 pm on Thursday.
Two cars were involved. The drivers were the only people in the vehicles.
Firefighters had to extricate one of the drivers. That person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The other person suffered moderate injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
