One person was taken to the hospital Saturday morning after a home caught on fire in Oceano.
According to the Five Cities Fire Authority, two people had minor injuries from the fire. One was treated on scene, and the other was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor smoke inhalation.
The fire broke out in a home in the 300 block of Pier Avenue around 8:40 a.m. Saturday.
CAL FIRE assisted the Five Cities Fire Authority.
The California Highway Patrol, San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Office, and State Parks rangers helped redirect traffic in the area.
Officials say there was significant damage to the home, and it isn't safe to live in. The Red Cross is providing temporary housing for the family.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
