Two Santa Barbara teenagers are facing charges in connection to a home burglary in Goleta on Thursday.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office says a resident in the 700 block of Cambridge Drive returned home just after noon to find two men burglarizing the home. The burglars ran off and left in a silver Nissan Maxima. The homeowner called 9-1-1.
Just a few minutes after the crime was reported, deputies spotted the suspect's vehicle, conducted a traffic stop and arrested Angel Sanchez and Felipe Camarillo, both 19.
The two face charges of burglary. Sanchez also faces a charge of assault with a deadly weapon because Sheriff's officials say he tried to run over a witness while fleeing the scene of the burglary.
