UCSB men's basketball looks to stay perfect

The UC Santa Barbara men's basketball looks for its first win over Weber State in program history.

The Gauchos host the Wildcats Tuesday night in the Thunderdome.

UCSB opened the season on Saturday with an 85-57 win over Cal State Los Angeles. Recent transfer Orlando Johnson, a preseason All-Big West Conference pick, scored a team high 19 points in the season opening victory. He led four Gauchos, who scored 10 or more points.

UCSB is 1-0 for the seventh straight season. The Gauchos go for their first 2-0 start since the 2007-2008 campaign.

Tip off Tuesday night in the Thunderdome is at 7pm.

The Cal Poly men's team returns to action Saturday night at Portland State. The Mustangs dropped two games last week and continue their season-long five game road trip this weekend before playing at St.Mary's next Monday.
