CAL FIRE says firefighters have managed to stop flames from spreading any further on the Ranchita Incident Fire, in a rural area north of Highway 46 East.

The fire started around 12:45 p.m. Monday off Ranchita Canyon and Cross Canyons Road and quickly burned 150 acres.

A spokesperson for CAL FIRE says crews have stopped flames from spreading, but will remain on scene for several more hours.
