An arrest has been made in the shooting that happened in July at the Dry Creek Apartment in Paso Robles.

After an investigation the Paso Robles Police Department arrested Rojelio Aviles, 21, on Thursday at the Monterey County Sheriff's Department Jail in Salinas.

Through witness interviews investigators were able to identify King City resident Aviles as the person who is believed to be responsible for the attempted murder of Luis Paulino Andel, 25. Angel was shot in the chest and is currently recovering from his once life threatening injuries.

Paso Police are currently working with the Monterey County Sheriff's Department to determine whether Aviles was linked to the double homicide that happened July 28 in San Ardo.
