Update: Bitter Fire forward progress has stopped

Cal Fire is on scene battling a vegetation fire near Bitterwater Road in between Hwy 46 and Hwy 58. The fire started around 2:20 pm on Friday.
The fire has burned 80 acres. The forward progress has stopped, which means Cal Fire is gaining gaining the control of the fire.
There are no structures threatened at this time and no injuries reported.
