Update: Body identified after being found on railroad tracks in Paso Robles

Railroad Victim Identified

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office has identified the man who was found dead on the railroad tracks in Paso Robles on Monday as Paso Robles Resident James Steven Dahlgren, 59.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.

Paso Robles Police Department received a 911 call Monday around 5:30 p.m. reporting an accident involving a train and a pedestrian in the area of the 24th Street.

Police say when they arrived on scene they located a man laying on the railroad tracks with a northbound train stopped nearby.
