Update: Cal Fire battle blaze on popular hiking trail

Cal Fire is battling a fire that had grown to burn 5 acres. It is located on the hill top above Pirates Cove near Cave Landing Road located just north of Shell Beach.

The fire is burning through heavy brush. Cal Fire has structure protection underway for Sycamore Hot Springs.
