The dive operation search for a missing 22-year-old man at Cachuma Lake has been suspended until visibility at the lake improves.
North Santa Barbara County Parks officials said boating at the lake is now open to the public while the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's dive team's search is on hold.
Meanwhile, park rangers have increased surface level searches, like boat patrol and scanning the shoreline.
Parks officials said on Saturday, park rangers and the dive team searched and cleared the immediate area of the lake where the victim was last seen.
Sheriff's officials said they are still investigating how the two men ended up in the water, but it appears the victim may have been trying to swim to shore.
The identity of the missing man has not been released.
