Update: Fire at Neverland Ranch near Los Olivos

Small fire on Neverland Ranch

Santa Barbara County Fire Department was called out to Neverland Ranch, the former home of Michael Jackson, on Tuesday just after 10:00 am.

Fire official's initially responded to a structure fire at 5225 Figueroa Mountain Road. However, when crews arrived they said the fire was already out.

Fire officials say the fire started in a barbecue pit's hood system that had been poorly cleaned.

There were no structures threatened and no reports of any injuries.
