CAL FIRE officials say firefighters have stopped the spread of a brush fire at Oceano Dunes State Park.
Park rangers say it broke out Monday afternoon between Pier Avenue and the campgrounds.
CAL FIRE says 4-5 acres burned. Structures are no longer threatened.
Two people are reportedly in custody in connection to the fire, but the investigation into its cause is continuing.
CAL FIRE says the hot, dry, windy weather conditions have made for a busy day for fire crews. They estimate, as of 4:30 pm, firefighters responded to approximately six significant fires throughout San Luis Obispo County.
