A representative from Golden State Water Company says the notice to Los Osos residents to boil their water has been lifted.
Nearly 300 customers were asked to boil their water as a precaution when a contractor hit a pipeline on the Los Osos Sewer Project.
The area affected included five blocks east and west of Bayview Heights Boulevard, south of Los Osos Valley Road and north of Ocean View Place.
