PG&E says 1,200 people are still without power Sunday night after a power line fell just south of the Bob Jones Trail.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. on Avila Beach Drive and Ontario Road.

Officials say a small vegetation fire started, and crews had to wait to put out that fire until PG&E arrived shortly before 7:30 p.m.

PG&E says about 1,200 customers are affected.

Avila Beach Drive is closed near the Bob Jones Trail.

They do not know when power will be restored or what caused the line to fall.
