UPDATE: Police say shooting victim is Grover Beach woman

UPDATE:
We just got an update from our crew on the scene of a shooting in Grover Beach.
It happened at 8th and Mentone at 9pm.
Police tell us the victim is a Grover Beach woman, who was shot multiple times in the torso.
They say shots were fired both inside and outside a house at 8th and Mentone. Two witnesses were inside the house at the time.
Police say the shooter is a man, who ran away from the scene and believed to be driving a 2004 silver Toyota 4Runner.
The woman was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Police won't comment on the relationship between the victim and the shooter.
Grover Beach investigators continue to search the neighborhood for evidence.
