UPDATE: Severe thunderstorm warning has expired

A severe Thunderstorm Warning for western San Luis Obispo County has expired, according to the National Weather Service.

At 4:09 a.m., the National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter radar size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 miles per hour, extending from just west of Cayucos to about 15 miles south of Morro Bay.
