UPDATE: Officials at Diablo Canyon Power Plant say PG&E has ended the Unusual Event that it declared at 12:09 a.m. on Sunday.

The Unusual Event was declared after a 5.3 magnitude earthquake was felt in the plant's control room.

Officials say inspections were performed by plant operator and engineers, who confirmed that the earthquake did not have any impact to the plant's equipment or operations.

Officials say Units 1 and 2 are safely operating at 100 percent power.
