Cal Fire is fighting a vegetation fire in rural Paso Robles. Fire officials are saying the fire started near Lake Nacimiento on top of Hell Hill around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.
Crews on scene are gaining the upper hand on the fire. The fire is burning through heavy and so far has burned 10 acres.
There are no structures threatened at this time and no reports of any injury. The fire is believe to have started after a vehicle caught on fire.
The California Highway Patrol is assisting Cal Fire with road closure. Lake Nacimiento Road is currently closed in both directions and will remain closed until fire crews gain containment of the fire.
