The jury in the Shane Villalpando trial has reached a verdict.
Villalpando, a former St. Joseph High School student, was found guilty Wednesday of three felony counts of unlawful sex with a minor.
The jury was deadlocked, 11-1, on a count of rape of an intoxicated person.
Villalpando was accused of raping a former classmate three times last year when the girl was 14 and he was 18.
Villalpando was not present in the Santa Maria courtroom when the verdict was read.
