RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) - The United States and Saudi Arabia issued a joint warning today to Syria and Iran.
Presenting a united front, the two countries warned Syrian President Bashar Assad that they will boost support to rebels fighting to oust him unless he steps down.
Meanwhile, activists say Syrian rebels have launched an offensive to try to seize an air base near the Turkish border and clashed with government forces at a historic mosque in the nation's largest city of Aleppo today.
