Vandenberg Air Force Base officials say everything appears to be on schedule to launch the largest rocket ever from the West Coast Thursday afternoon.

The Delta IV Heavy rocket is scheduled to lift-off from the base at 1:08 p.m. Base officials said residents can find the best views at Surf Beach, The peak of Harris Grade Road, and the Corral Road Viewing Site in Lompoc.

Ksby will stream live video of the launch on ksby.com.
