The Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to a vegetation fire near Tanglewood Saturday evening.

Officials say the fire broke out around 5:30 p.m. in the 2200 Block of Alderberry Drive.

The fire spread at a low to moderate rate of speed and burned a quarter-acre of grass.

No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported.

Investigators are working on determining the cause and origin of the fire.
