Santa Barbara County health officials are focusing on the county's homeless and veterans at an upcoming H1N1 vaccine clinic.
The clinic will take place during the regular Sunday meal for Santa Barbara's homeless provided by the Organic Soup Kitchen. That vaccine clinic takes place Sunday, March 4th from 7:30a.m. to 10:30a.m. at the Santa Barbara Veteran's Hall on the 100 blk. of W. Cabrillo Blvd. Volunteer medical staff from Doctors Without Walls, Santa Barbara Street Medicine and the Medical Reserve Corps will be administering the vaccinations.
Organizers say homeless and veteran's are the target groups for this effort, but all Santa Barbara County residents over the age of six months are invited to receive the H1N1 flu vaccine.
