The Highway 1 and Rocky Creek Viaduct Project in Monterey County is almost done.
Construction workers are building a permanent viaduct about 15 miles south of Carmel, near the Rocky Creek Bridge.
Construction started on September 4th.
Next Thursday and Friday, there will be a crane on the northbound lane of Highway 1 at Rocky Creek. Workers will be removing debris from the hillside from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. One-way traffic control will be in effect.
The project is now 99% completed.
