Victim's name released in fatal ATV accident

Twenty-nine-old Daniel Salgado from Goleta was killed on Saturday in an ATV accident in Los Padres National Forest, according to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department.
The accident happened around 2:30 p.m. north of Upper Oso Campground. Santa Barbara County Fire crews and a Cal Star helicopter were dispatched to the scene.
According to scanner traffic, the victim was riding the ATV on a dirt trail. People on scene tried to administer CPR, but were unsuccessful.
