Vitamin D supplements may help lower blood pressure in African Americans.
High blood pleasure is much more common in african americans than in other populations. It is also linked to heart attacks, heart failure, and strokes.
Researchers at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston studied 250 american adults. They split them into 4 groups and gave them varying amounts of Vitamin D. Those who took higher levels of the vitamin had modest declines in their blood pressure readings.
