The Lompoc Veterans Memorial Building is getting some upgrades starting Wednesday.

Thanks to a $24,000 grant and help from Home Depot the 76 year old building will be getting some much needed renovations.

Home Depot says they plan to bring in more than 150 volunteers to help out.

The building was designated a City of Lompoc historic landmark back in 1989.
