High pressure is building, backing in the from the east. This will cause temps to spike inland, back to triple digits by the end of the week.
At the coast temps will come up, but there will still be some night and morning marine influence. Beaches in the 60s to lower 70s, coastal valleys back into the upper 70s and lower 80s.
Any time we see a backing ridge like this we need to watch for monsoonal moisture to sneak in. That looks possible Sunday or Monday.
Best chance would be the upper elevations of the Santa Barbara county mountains, but there is even a very small chance that these showers could develop over coast and valley areas as well.
