The big story of this week has been winds, in fact this afternoon looks windy with 15-25mph winds with gusts to 35. The story will not be winds for long, the weekend forecast features winds which will calm down with peak afternoon conditions likely only producing winds up to 15mph (there will be exceptions for outer marine waters where it will be windy).
The onshore winds of today go weakly offshore Friday morning (but not for too long) and then become predominantly onshore for the weekend. Some night and morning low clouds can be expected with afternoon clearing and near seasonal highs. The exception will be in the interior valleys where above normal highs near 80 can be expected.
