"Weird Al" Yankovic is coming to the Central Ccoast on Wednesday. He's set to perform an encore concert in the Performing Arts Center at Cal Poly.

The location is great for the occasion too; Yankovic used to be an architecture student at Cal Poly. He got his musical start on a San Luis Obispo radio show called "Dr. Demento." Wednesday's concert will be a nice tribute to the place his career took off.

The show will feature some of his greatest hits as well as a number of songs from his latest album, "Alpocalypse." The performance starts Wednesday night at 7:30. Tickets range from $36 to $56 and can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center.
