Wet weather did not seem to slow shoppers on the last Saturday before Christmas.
It's known as "Super Saturday" among retailers who offer big sales to draw in last-minute customers. Many stores actually opened as early as 6 a.m. Saturday, and at the Pismo Beach Outlets employees say there were still plenty of shoppers coming through the doors.
"I think those of us who haven't done our shopping yet are going to have to get out here at some point whether it's raining or not," said Mike Dunham, who works at the outlets.
Some shoppers we spoke with say they decided to go shopping just to get out of the wet weather.
