Rain systems are possible Monday, Thursday and Saturday. These are more than the splash and dash variety of the last several events. The primary element for a more active forecast would be a highly amplified jet stream pattern early in the week transforming to a more active sub-tropical jet flow late in the week. The subtropical jet intersecting California allows for much more available moisture for systems. Stay tuned for the latest.
Today's forecast can be found here, and more discussion of the rain pattern on our weather blog.
