While the economic forecast appears to be improving, there is more pain at the pump.
A national survey shows the average price of regular gasoline in the U.S. has jumped more than seven cents over a two-week period, to $3.05.
In California, the average price for a gallon of regular, rose about six cents to $3.11.
On the Central Coast, gas is averaging around $3.18 per gallon.
