Who Dresses Up the Bear Sculptures in Los Osos? Will More Roads Be Paved Over When the Los Osos Sewer Project is Done?

In tonight's good question, we're going to Los Osos. Toni Chavez has a question about the bear sculptures at the entrances to the city. She wants to know, who dresses up the bears in holiday costumes? Good question.

One bear stands off Los Osos Valley Road and one off South Bay Boulevard. Someone adds touches of holiday dress on special occasions. I talked to the Community Services District, the Chamber of Commerce and the civic beauty group "Celebrate Los Osos" and no one knows who does the decorating. It just appears. The scupltures are made of painted cement and have been there for about 15 years.

Next here's a question from Marla Dawson of Los Osos who asks: When the big sewer project is complete, will all the other dirt roads in town be paved over?

Any roads that get ripped up as part of the sewer project will be repaved by the county. But there's nothing in the budget and no plans to pave over any dirt roads in other parts of the city. The sewer project construction is set to start next June.

I know you have a lot more questions so send them to ksby.com or, better yet, friend me at facebook.com/JohnRegerKsbyNews. The only bad question is the one you don't ask.
