GLENDORA, Calif. (AP) - Firefighters are battling a small brushfire above a reservoir in the San Gabriel Mountains northeast of Los Angeles.
The U.S. Forest Service says the 4- to 5-acre blaze erupted at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday near the Morris Reservoir in San Gabriel Canyon, north of the foothill communities of Glendora and Azusa.
No injuries are reported and the cause of the fire isn't known.
Television news reports show fire crews training hoses on tongues of flame burning on a rocky, plunging cliff above the water.
