Wilkins helps AG boys soccer stay undefeated, Eagles edge Knights 3-2

Josh Wilkins scored twice and assisted on another goal as the Arroyo Grande High boys soccer team edged St. Joseph 3-2 on Wednesday in a Pac 7 League match. The Eagles remained undefeated in league at 7-0, while the Knights fell to 0-7 in league matches.

Wilkins, a junior, netted two goals for the Eagles to give him six on the year. He also assisted Brian Wright on his first goal of the season.

The Eagles, who are 13-7-1 overall, host Righetti Friday night at 5:30 pm in a huge Pac 7 battle. The Warriors are in second place 6-1 in league with the lone defeat coming to AG earlier in the season.

The AG girls also won 4-0 on Wednesday over the Lady Knights. The Eagles are 5-1-1 in league and battle first place Righetti Friday. Mallory Flatebo, Nadine Reed, Lupita Leon and Brianna Welch each scored once for AG.
