This is the 24th year the National Wrestling Championships have been held. To qualify for the tournament you must be a State Champion or State Runner-up at some point throughout your high school wrestling career. However in New Jersey and New York top four place finishers qualify and in California, finishing in the top eight at state qualifies you.
