The official artwork for the 25th annual Live Oak Music Festival could very well be in someone's sketchbook or already hanging on their bedroom wall.
San Luis Obispo based radio station KCBX is now accepting applications for the official artwork of the Live Oak Music Festival next June.
The three day festival is held at Live Oak Camp, about 20 minutes west of Santa Barbara and is filled with camping, live music, art, food and other activities for families to enjoy.
The focus of the festival is the main stage performances where musicians gather from across the United States and across the globe to perform.
The artwork chosen will adorn t-shirts and other merchandise sold at the festival's outdoor concert and camping event that benefits the local radio station KCBX.
Interested artists may learn more about submissions or enter the contest by sending sample photos of their work via email along with a one page bio on themselves, style of art and vision for the festival artwork.
Artists have until Friday, Aug. 24 to submit their work and the selected artist will be notified no later than Sept. 1 with the final approved artwork due by Nov. 1.
The festival takes place over Father's Day weekend from Friday, June 14 to Sunday, June 16.
Along with having artwork displayed for thousands to see, the winning artist will receive a commission, tickets to the festival, t-shirts and a signing session at the festival.
