Winds are cranking up Thursday

For the Central Coast there is a wind advisory in effect from noon until 10 PM PST Thursday.

Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph will develop Thursday afternoon and remain gusty through Thursday evening.

Gusty winds can create hazardous driving conditions especially for high profile vehicles.

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph or greater are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
